Please feel free to navigate through the site and become familiar with it! I will post important information and daily reminders on this page. The "BLOG" will contain photos and a look into our Grade 2 classroom. Please check out the homework section.

** This week's homework went home today. Some students had not returned their homework folder. It is important that this sheet is returned with their homework folder by Friday as it relates to the animal project we are starting tomorrow. The homework asks the students to focus on the habitat of their chosen animal.
Plastic Bag Grab Challenge We will be starting a school-wide plastic bag grab challenge this week for Earth week. It will run from April 18th -22nd. Students are encouraged to bring in as many plastic bags as possible. Our goal is to collect 5000 bags! The school in each province/territory that collects the most plastic bags for recycling per capita is eligible to win a top prize of $3,000. ($2000 for second place and $1000 for third place). The homeroom that collects the most bags will win some cool prizes!
Acceptable for the challenge: carry out plastic shopping bags.
Non-acceptable for this challenge: food storage bags, clear produce bags, frozen food bags, milk bags, snack bags, sandwich bags, dry cleaning bags, resealable bags, plastic film packaging, or anything that is not a carry out plastic shopping bag.
